Dice inte bara en Battlefield-fabrik

Dice förknippar de flesta förmodligen med Battlefield, och spelserien i fråga är också vad de flesta sysslar med på den svenska studion. Men man sysslar också med andra projekt, och om Dice bara skulle göra Battlefield för evigt skulle de lämna skutan. Detta enligt EA Games Patrick Söderlund, som talat med OXM.

"The Dice guys are roughly 300 people in the Stockholm studio; not all of them are working on Battlefield things, and that's intentional, because we don't want to become a Battlefield factory," berättar Söderlund.

"The minute we start saying 'you're going to make a Battlefield game for the rest of your life', they're going to go some place else. So for them to make great Battlefield games there need to be other things for them to do as well."

Senast Dice gjorde något annat än Battlefield i stort format var Mirror's Edge från 2008. Ett spel som många velat se en uppföljare till. Kanske kommer det att bli verklighet?
